Components

All componants are silver plated. Girl From Blue City ensures all componants are low nickel in compliance with UK regulations.

Earring stud posts are either surgical steel or silver plated.

Ladybirds
Ladybird beads are lampwork glass and all individually handmade. The Ladybirds are the only decorative componant not completely crafted by Girl From Blue City but we love their inidividual faces and googley eyes.

Everything Else

All other decoration (love hearts, skulls, roses, sweeties etc) are made from polymer clay and are completely hand crafted by Girl From Blue City. Polymer clay is our prefered material due to it's durability and finish and for having a more organic appearance compared to acrylic, resin and other plastics.

Caring for your Products

To Keep your jewellery in tip top condition follow these handy tips:

-To spruce up silver and silver plated componants use a silver polishing cloth available from most supermarkets.

-To keep silver and silver plated componants sparkling use a little silver polish available at most supermarkets, remember to remove all excess polish before wearing your jewellery again.

-You can use wet wipes (gentle face wipes, baby wipes etc) on the polymer clay decoration.

-Avoid wearing costume jewellery in water.

-Apply perfume and give it time to settle before wearing costume jewellery to avoid tarnishing.

What payment methods do Girl From Blue City accept?

If you shop at www.girlfrombluecity.co.uk you can pay via Paypal, you don't need a Paypal account to pay and is safe and easy to use. When you choose to pay via Paypal you will be transferred to Paypal to make payment once you have completed the check out process at www.girlfrombluecity.co.uk.

You can also send a personal cheque. Orders will not be shipped until payment has cleared. Details of where to send a cheque will be emailed to you once your order has been reviewed.

What about any codes or discounts offered?

There is a section during the check out process for you to quote any voucher codes offered by Girl From Blue City so be sure not to skip it when ordering. If you have a Paypal voucher you can quote that code dring the Paypal portion of the check out process.
